our office we offer a complete range of dental services and provide you

Preventive and Periodontal Care
Good preventive care can save you from many oral health problems now
and in the future. We will give you a thorough examination (including
oral cancer screening)
at each checkup, and work with you to make sure that you understand the best
way to take care of your teeth and gums.
Our hygienists are highly skilled and trained at gathering important
information to help Dr. Reagan in diagnosing periodontal disease. Our
software allows us
to give you a full-page color printout of periodontal charting showing your
pocket depth and bleeding points which are the area of infection. We store
this information
in our computer so we can keep track of your periodontal health. We offer
non-surgical periodontal treatment to patients with moderate periodontal
disease. We believe
that prevention of disease is by far superior to the elimination of disease.
Our hygiene department also provides conventional hygiene, dental sealants,
patient education, fluoride treatments, counseling in preventive techniques
and many
other services.
Periodontal or gum disease has been linked to a variety of health problems,
including heart disease and stroke. We provide every patient with a periodontal
screening
at each visit.
If you have periodontal disease, we take a conservative treatment
approach, including scaling and root planing with Arestin and
antibiotics. If problems persist, we will refer you to a periodontist
and work closely with that specialist to treat and heal your gums.

Restorative and Cosmetic Services
Restorative treatments should leave your teeth looking natural and
feeling good. When you have a problem such as a cavity, we will restore
your teeth leaving
as much of your original tooth as possible.
We offer tooth-colored fillings to patients as well as gold restorations
(only in the back of the mouth). Studies have shown that amalgam (metal
or mercury)
fillings expand and contract at a faster rate than your natural tooth structure,
which can cause hairline fracture to prevent this from occurring. They also
match your natural teeth to create a beautiful look for your mouth.

Cosmetic Services
Cosmetic dentistry can change your life by giving you a wonderful new
smile. What works for one person, however, may not be appropriate for
another. Dr.
Reagan will give you customized suggestions for enhancement, based on what
you have told us you want, and upon what looks best for the shape of your
face and mouth. Because we listen to you carefully, you achieve the look
that you
truly want.
Patient Comfort and the Latest Technology
Our entire office is designed, furnished and equipped with
your health and safety in mind. Our patients receive the
best dental care possible in a timely
fashion. To stay on the cutting edge of dental technology, Dr. Reagan takes
many continuing education courses. We use chair-side computers, digital
imaging and sedation dentistry with IV sedation and oral
sedation. We use the latest
technology in sterilization because your safety is paramount.

 With digital
radiography the images of patients’ mouths
can be seen instantly and any necessary adjustments made
so that they are exposed to less radiation. Digital radiographs
allow us to see disease much earlier that on regular
x-ray films, so fillings can be much smaller.
- Extra-oral photography—We can take a picture of
your mouth and instantly show it to you on the chair-side
computer
so that you can see what we see.
- Dentipatch—We will place this small Band-Aid-like patch
for two to three minutes on the site where you will receive
an injection. It numbs the area, so most patients don’t
even realize they are getting an injection (it is especially
great for kids.)
- Chair-side computers that display images of your mouth
make it easy for you to see what we see.
- Sedation dentistry is very helpful for adults or for
children who are extremely fearful of dental treatments.
We use
an anesthesiologist who is a D.D.S. and an M.D. to assist in
these treatments.
- We offer nitrous oxide
to help patients feel more comfortable during treatment. For information regarding

- You may select from a list of music genres and listen to music on an MP3 player during treatment, or watch the new overhead digital
television and select from a number of cable television stations.
